ELA & Social Studies

ELA Grades 6-8

Reading Support: Students develop strong reading skills by improving comprehension, analyzing literature, and thinking critically about texts. Sessions focus on understanding themes, identifying key ideas, and making connections to deepen their learning.

Writing Support: Students build clear and effective writing skills, including essay structure, grammar, and research techniques. Whether they need help with organizing ideas, crafting strong arguments, or refining their style, lessons are tailored to support their growth as confident writers

Enrichment: If your student loves ELA or is above grade-level, we offer enrichment opportunities tailored to their interests, such as book clubs and creative writing. Through engaging lessons, we focus on preparing students for rigorous high school curriculum and developing skills needed for standardized tests such as the SAT.

U.S. History: We support student to build a strong foundation in U.S. history by making the past engaging and easy to understand. Lessons focus on key events, important figures, and historical themes while developing critical thinking and analytical skills. Whether students need help with classwork, essay writing, or preparing for exams, we provide personalized support to make history meaningful and memorable.

Enrichment: Do you have an upper elementary or middle school student who is enthralled by social studies? We offer enrichment classes based on student interest, either 1:1 or small group. Courses are focused on depth of study and building skills for high school humanities courses including primary source analysis and analytical writing, all in a fun and engaging format
