Our Complete College Essay Package is four stages that are designed to guide students through the entire essay-writing process, ensuring they create a compelling and polished college application essay. This package emphasizes a balanced approach, allowing students to delve into the writing process independently while receiving expert guidance and mentorship during key stages. With 1:1 Zoom sessions, personalized feedback, and structured resources, students develop an essay that truly reflects their strengths and aspirations.

Students start with an on-demand instructional video from our expert college essay coaches, providing a thorough overview of college essay requirements and strategies for understanding the intended audience. The video also includes a review of sample college essays, offering insights into what makes an essay stand out to admissions officers. A guided pre-writing activity accompanies the video, helping students brainstorm unique ideas and identify meaningful personal experiences to form the foundation of their essay.

In the first live session, students work with a mentor to transform their brainstormed ideas into a cohesive rough draft. With hands-on guidance, they learn how to structure their essay effectively, crafting a compelling introduction, body, and conclusion. By the end of this session, students will have a well-organized draft to refine further.

Students revise their essay independently using personalized feedback from our college essay coaches. This feedback includes detailed written comments on their draft, as well as brief video commentary highlighting areas for improvement and offering actionable suggestions. This step ensures students have the tools to enhance their essay’s clarity, coherence, and impact before final polishing.

The second live session focuses on perfecting the essay. Together, we review the student’s revised draft, fine-tune language, fix any remaining errors, and ensure the essay is polished and cohesive.
After this session, students receive unlimited email communication with their coach for any final tweaks, questions, or additional revisions. This ongoing support ensures the essay is refined to its highest quality and fully prepared to make a strong impression on admissions officers.
The Revision Package
Our Revision Package is perfect for students who already have a draft of their college essay but need another set of experienced eyes to help refine and perfect it before submitting.
This package includes a thorough evaluation of your essay’s content, clarity, and overall effectiveness. We offer personalized feedback on how to strengthen the narrative, improve organization, and ensure the essay aligns with supplemental applications or scholarship prompts. We also focus on refining language and correcting any errors to present your achievements and aspirations in the best possible light.

We’ll provide written feedback along with video commentary reviewing your essay in detail. After receiving the feedback, you’ll brainstorm ideas for revisions based on our suggestions. Students come prepared to discuss these ideas and potential changes in Stage 2.

In the case of supplementals and scholarships, we work with students to strategize highlighting assets and strengths that are not already echoed in their college essay.
